Welcome to SafeTube – A Platform in Progress
We’re building a safer, smarter way for kids to enjoy YouTube. SafeTube is designed to give parents real control over what their children watch, helping to prevent doom-scrolling and exposure to inappropriate content. After years of frustration with existing apps and platforms that fell short, we’re creating the solution we always wished existed, one that truly prioritises both safety and peace of mind.
Our idea came after lockdown and we started work on our application in 2022. A long road ahead for our development, back and forth while in full time work, but we hope to have our site up and running by the end of the year. We look forward to giving away 100 free 1 year subscriptions (which will be worth £20 a year each.) at launch. Our model is to provide an afforable solution for families to use at home and their devices. Our service will aim to be £2 a month and provide access for up to 3 devices per account (we are looking at subscription models to add additional devices for small surcharge for families with more than 3 children as well)
